Hobbits happy reunion is marking the Lord of the Rings 10th anniversary.

Speaking to the magazine for the exclusive interview and photo shoot, the main hobbit Elijah Wood said:

“It feels like… It’s 12 years ago in August that we all flew out there, so it feels crazy to conceive of that span of time, but at the same time, it doesn’t feel like that much time has passed.”

“Whenever you experience something that’s as intense and life-defining as we did together, it never goes away”- Sean Austin who played Frodo’s best friend Sam, said.

“It’s interesting that we always talk about the intensity. But on a working day it would be 5.20 to 5.40am pick-up and we’d be done by maybe 7.30pm. It’s a long day and we all chose to hang out with each other afterwards.”-Dominic Monaghan who played Meriadoc ‘Merry’ Brandybuck, agreed and added.

The December issue of Empire magazine will be available this Thursday, October 27, 2011. Happy 10th anniversary to the hobbits and to all The Lord of the Rings Fellowship.
