Is Mel Gibson Paying Off Oksana Grigorieva’s Son Not To Sue Him?

Is Mel Gibson Paying Off Oksana Grigorieva’s Son Not To Sue Him? Gibson has had a very busy year in regards to being in court and coming to agreements with exes about child support and divorce terms. He recently had to split his $900 million net worth with his now ex-wife, Laura Wasser, completely 50/50 because there was no pre-nuptial agreement. It is now said that Gibson has offered Grigorieva’s son some cash not to sue him. It has been reported that Gibson offered Alexander Dalton $100,000, so that the kid wouldn’t take him to court over Gibson allegedly pushing him onto a table.

Let’s bring it back for a second and see what the terms of money that will be given to Ms. Grigorieva that was court appointed for their joint custody arrangement. Last month Gibson was ordered to pay Grigorieva $750,000 in three installments of $250,000. The time frame was not mentioned but that is still a very large lump sum to dish out. Addition to that, the money from the sale of the home they once shared will go into a trust fund for Lucia, their daughter. It was also said that both parties are happy with the court agreement.

Now going back to the topic on hand; Gibson’s representative told press, “The deal between Mel and OG is exactly what was set forth on the record, in open court, on August 31, 2011. Mel is paying exactly the sums set forth to OG and is paying no additional sums to Alexander Dalton or anyone else. How OG chooses to have any sums due from Mel allocated is her business.”

Grigorieva’s lawyer also spoke with press stating, “Of the first $250,000 paid; $100,000 belongs to Alexander Dalton who is waiving his rights to sue Mel Gibson and must be compensated for this to be lawful. If Alexander Dalton does not get his $100,000.00, he cannot waive his rights to sue. Mr. Gibson negotiated for that as a part of the settlement and is entitled to the benefit of his bargain.”

With both statements stated it is safe to say that the rumors are true and that Gibson did push this young boy onto a table and is paying him not to sue. The payment is not a separate payment and has been given in the first payment to Grigorieva as per court order.

Gibson is not the only celebrity father who has to dish out large lump sums for the children they have had. Francois Henri-Pinault, husband of Salma Hayek, recently had to pay up once Linda Evangelista Demands $46K Monthly Child Support last month.
